My name is Connie Huibers and I am a Sales Representative in the Niagara Region.  While I live in Pelham/Fonthill - I do a large amount of business in Welland, Niagara Falls, Port Colborne, Wainfleet and St. Catharines as well.

Let me start off by letting you know a little about myself and my perspective on the task of buying and selling a home.  In my life I am what you would call a "big picture" person.  I try my best never to focus on the short term money or paycheck, but on the long term of quality and happiness all around in whatever the decision is that is made. 

How does that translate to you as a seller?  It means I am not going to undervalue your home in order to have a quick turn-over.  I am not going to over-value your home, giving you false hopes and then reduce over and over again over time - finally ending up at the list price you should have been in the first place!  I will take the time to determine the right market value of your home and we will work together to find a price that suits your agenda and wallet.

What does this mean for you as a buyer?  It means I am not going to try to convince you to buy one of the first houses you see just to save myself some time.  I am not going to let you pay more for a home than its worth.  I believe in educating you as a buyer so that you are confident in all the aspects of your purchase.

My reason is as I said "big picture".  I can do what some of my competitors do, but in the future you will likely chose a different agent when its time for your next move.  I'd like to keep my clients for life!  That is a lot of working together, holding hands and making everyone involved happy.

You may have noticed that I used the word "task" in regards to buying or selling a home.  Well, the reality is...that it is!  It can be an easy and positive one, or discouraging and frustrating.  Either way, there is a lot of work involved - and its never as easy as putting a sign on the lawn and snapping a few pictures.  There is research, time, money, communication, combatibility and skill involved - especially in the realtor you choose.  So choose wisely.  Don't ever base one of the largest financial decisions of your lifetime on a commision amount.  Bear those traits in mind and ask around - be happy and comfortable with your agent - there is no dollar value to confidence and trust.
